We specialize in hand carved 3 section wading staffs that break down for easy travel packing. Each staff is discreetly signed near the bottom and we will happily personalize it by adding "Hand carved for ??" with the users name. Our standard wading staff heights are about 53" in height, although, they can be carved to any reasonable height. The standard bottom tip is a pointed brass tip which is carefully fitted and secured with waterproof cold-cure epoxy. We also offer an alternate tip; a metal ferrule, fitted and epoxied in place and covered with a removable rubber tip. The handle is wrapped with nylon twine, for a non slip grip, which is glued in place with cold-cure epoxy. The top has a nylon wrist strap and a brass snap to quickly secure to vest, belt or shoulder strap to free hands for fishing. We also offer one piece wading staffs as well. Sectional units screw together with machined brass couplers. These couplers are counter sunk in the section ends so the joints are wood on wood, providing a strong joint. One-Piece Hand Carved Wading Staff

Our one piece wading staffs are ideal for the those where the full length doesn't create a travel problem. If you already have a long rod tube to move, the one piece wading staff might be the ideal choice. We offer our wading staffs in a wide variety of local and exotic woods, such as Black Walnut, Black Cherry, Oak, Mahogany, Teak and many more. We offer two carving styles; Our 'fancy' style, which has a spiral swirl from top to bottom and an additional small groove that runs along the edge of the swirl for added defination. Our 'spiral' style is the same as our 'fancy' style except is doesn't have the additional small groove. Our brass climbing tip is fitted as standard but the alternate tip, the metal ferrule covered with a replaceable rubber tip, can be installed at no extra charge on request.

Three-Piece Hand Carved Wading Staff

Our three section wading staff is ideal for those who travel to their fishing spots and can benefit from the convenience of being able to easily pack their wading staff. If you are flying or back packing to your favorite spot you'll find these staffs ideal. We offer these staffs in a wide variety of local and exotic woods, such as Black Walnut, Black Cherry, Oak, Mahogany, Teak and many more.

The sections are connected using machined brass joins which have been counter sunk in the ends of each section. This wood on wood joint is strong and when the sections are connected the staff looks just like a one piece staff.
